WE'RE IN ON CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON NEXT YEAR! AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!
Dear Curlers ,
I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the start of the summer season.
A few months ago we applied to Curl Ontario to host a Provincial Championship in 2023 and I am pleased to announce that The Woodstock Curling Centre has been awarded to host The Mixed & Senior Mixed Provincial Championships in 2023. The event will run from April 12 – 16 of 2023.
Aside from the Tankard or Scotties this is a very big event in itself and we should all be proud that we have been chosen to host it. The excitement and buzz surrounding this Provincial will be electrifying and the economic impact for the Centre as well as the City of Woodstock will be substantial .
At this time I would like to give a big thanks and shout out to Darlene Wood for stepping up and volunteering herself to Chair this very important event. Like any event of this magnitude it will require many volunteers to ensure it’s success. More to come on this but rest assured it will be a great thing to be a part of.
