Dear Curlers, 

The time has come to say farewell to the 2021/2022 season. I think we can say with confidence that despite all the things that came our way  (like a temporary shutdown and Covid) this was one of the best curling seasons yet! And we only have all of you to thank! To all our curlers, staff, volunteers, and sponsors, we could not have done any of this with out you and we thank you from the bottom of our hearts. 

We have a few things to let you know about as we part ways for the summer: 

1) Installment Plan and Early Bird Rates available until May 31^st 

Take advantage of the 2021/2022 membership rates by signing up for the installment plan/paying in full. This secures your spot for next season and helps us cover our operating expenses during our slow season. 

Visit our Register Now page and follow the instructions below: 

1. Click on Register Now
2. You will be directed to Curling i/o where you will create an account or use your google account to sign in
3. Create a profile
4. Select your membership from the Product list and add to your cart (this is your membership fee)
5. Next Select the league(s) you would like to join (this will show a $0 balance owing for the leagues)
6. Complete your purchase and you will receive an invoice email with the amount owing for membership and your order number. If you signed up for the installment plan, your monthly payment will also be included here. 
7. Make payment at the Centre or by e-transfer (please enter your last name and order number in the e-transfer message for reference)

2) Spring Fling Thank Yous and Results 

To all of you who spent the last week curling with us during the closing bonspiel, Mahalo! or Thank you! We raised a grand total of .... drumroll please...... $7,540 that will be going towards special projects at the Centre. Thanks to all who curled, volunteered and donated! Huge shout out to the day curlers who filled up the elimination draw and who donated their coffee club funds of the centre :) 

3) Try Lawn Bowling this Year! 

Need to scratch the curling itch in the summer? Why not try lawn bowling? The other scottish game with draws and hits sans the sweeping! It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors while getting some low impact exercise. Learn to Lawn Bowl May 24, 26, and 31 at 7:00. BBQ and tournament to follow on June 2 at 6:00 p.m. $10 entry fee. The Woodstock Lawn Bowling Club is located at Finkle and Parkinson. Membership rates for your first year are just $75!
