As members of our Men’s and Day Curlers leagues know, we currently have 3 reported cases of Covid-19 identified through rapid antigen testing that could possibly be linked to curling at the Centre. These individuals curl in the day league, with a few crossing over to Men’s league. The origin of cases is thought to be on Wednesday, February 16, with cross over on Monday night mens on February 21. If you curled during these time slots, please monitor extra closely for any symptoms. All close contacts have been notified but we encourage all members to continue to monitor for symptoms of Covid-19 and isolate for the required 5 days from the onset of symptoms as per provincial guidelines.
We are not required to shutdown the Centre at this time, but we will monitor the situation closely and continue to keep masking and physical distancing a priority in the Centre.
