We are writing you today to let you know of some recent news coming from our neighbours at the Ingersoll Curling Club. We have been informed that they are closing down for one week due to a Covid-19 outbreak in the club.
First off, we know a few of our curlers play at Ingersoll as well, and we want to let everyone know that these individuals have been cleared through the close contact tracing process so we do not have a direct exposure concern.
With a Covid-19 outbreak hitting close to home, we want to encourage everyone to remain vigilant with all the safety measures and protocols that we have in place at the Centre:
Please continue to check-in to the Centre using your QR code and the contact tracing tablet in the front entrance
Remember to wear your masks when moving about the Centre
Keep physically distant from other curlers both on and off the ice
Stay home if you are not feeling well (regardless of whether or not your symptoms are on the Covid-19 symptom list)
We are keeping a close eye on the new developments regarding the emerging Omicron variant and are prepared to adapt our safety measures and protocols as necessary. Let’s all continue to do our part so we can avoid an outbreak and continue with our curling season!
