UPDATE TO LOCKER POLICY, AGM REMINDER, HEART OF OXFORD GIVEAWAY
Good morning Curlers,
Well it feels more and more like winter has arrived! There’s something about that first snow fall! (Whether that something is good or bad we will leave that up to you to decide)
Three things to let you all know about this week!
1) Lockers are now available for use (free of charge)
We heard how tricky it has been to carry your curling gear back and forth from the centre so have cut the ties (literally) on our locker restrictions. For returning members, please feel free to grab your old locker back. For new members to the centre, grab an unlabelled locker and claim it as your own. Once you’ve done that, sign the locker sheet located on the wooden table in the main lounge to let us know your number. We will still be adhering to capacity and social distancing protocols in the locker rooms.
2) AGM Next Monday at 8:00
Reminder that the Annual General Meeting will take place next Monday at 8:00 p.m. at the Centre. Come on out to learn about how the Centre did this past year over the Covid closure and learn more about the business of the Centre.
3) Heart of Oxford Giveaway
We are so excited to be participating in the Heart of Oxford Giveaway this year. The giveaway is just ramping up this week. Owner and operator of Kynd Beauty Spa, Kirstin Young, is the mastermind behind the giveaway. The giveaway features items, gift cards, products etc from local businesses in Oxford County. This year there are over $19,000 worth of prizes and we are among them! We are giving away a custom learn to curl package to the lucky winner for them to enjoy with family/friends.
