We are so excited that curling season is almost here.
We originally intended to start league play the October 12, aka the week after Thanksgiving. We do have to push our start date back one week. Why you ask? We are getting brand new, energy efficient lighting installed in the rink. This install will significantly reduce the amount of energy the Centre consumes. The install is going a little longer than originally anticipated, as these things sometimes do. To make sure the rink is in tip-top shape, we are delaying a week, meaning league play will now start on Monday, October 18.
If you have not yet signed up for your leagues, please do so as soon as possible. Our conveners are hard at work getting the season organized so please sign for your league/s by October 6th. You can do so here: https://woodstock.curling.io/en/leagues.
We will be hosting our vaccine verification nights on Thursday, October 7th and Friday, October 8th from 6:30-8:30. Bring your proof of vaccination, and a piece of government-issued photo ID. You only have to show us once!
