Icemaker Tom and his team have been busy getting the ice surface ready for the ice installation.
The pumps are being primed, the coolant is flowing and it is starting to get a little chilly in the rink. With that said, we are looking for some volunteers to help with some of the key activities of the installation of the ice. We need some volunteers who are able to help with the painting. Painting is usually done over the course of one long day and can be fairly physically demanding. Other duties include holding the hoses for floods.
If you are able to help with painting, or any other part of ice installation (like commandeering a hose for a few hours), please contact Tom Farlow, Keith Eppenberger, or Josh Pegg.
On another note, it was so great seeing some friendly and familiar faces yesterday! Thank you to all who came out to the Community Open House!
