Dear Curlers,
We are so excited be sending this e-mail welcoming you back to our Centre this fall. We apologize for the length of this email but there are so many good things happening and we wanted to let you know about them all!
Be Safe: Covid-19 Safety Protocols
We know a lot of you have been wondering about curling during the ongoing pandemic. The Board of Directors has been working hard updating our safety protocols and procedures so that you can feel safe and confident about returning to the ice. Here are a few highlights:
proof of vaccination will be required to enter the facility as per provincial regulations (specific details coming soon)
masks are required to be worn at all times, except while curling or eating/drinking at the tables in the lounges
physical distancing and capacity limits will be in place to ensure safety of all curlers and spectators

Please note that we are living in an ever-changing environment and that these protocols and guidelines are subject to change.

Registration for the 2021-2022 season is now open. Please register here. Don’t forget to select the leagues you wish to play in! Tell your friends and family about our Learn to Curl programs available Tuesday nights and Sunday mornings.
Registration will close on Tuesday September 30th to give our conveners enough time to set up leagues. League play will start Tuesday, October 12.
Reconnect at the Community Open House: September 11th
On Saturday, September 11th from 11:30-2:00 we will be hosting a community open house. Come on out to reconnect with your fellow curlers, check out all the upgrades and renovations to the Centre that happened during the Covid closure and grab some lunch from Todd’s Dogs, who will be on site. We will have registration stations set up in the parking lot if you would like to register in person along with some fun family activities.
Win a Gift Card: 1st Annual Social Media Lawn Sign Contest
You will have noticed that our infamous lawn signs have been unleashed and are now scattered across the city. We are running a lawn sign contest on Facebook and Instagram. Take a picture next to a lawn sign, tag one of our social accounts, and be entered to win a $50.00 gift card to a local business of your choosing!
Attend the Annual General Meeting: Thursday, September 23rd at 6:30
Mark your calendars! Our AGM will take place Thursday, September 23rd at the Centre. More details to come shortly.
