WCC RECEIVES ONTARIO TRILLIUM FOUNDATION RESILIENCY GRANT, AND INSTALMENT PLAN ANNOUNCEMENT
Good Thursday afternoon Curlers!
We have two exciting announcements this week!
1) WCC receives OTF Grant
We are absolutely thrilled to share the news that we are the recipients of the Ontario Trillium Foundation Resiliency Grant. This significant funding will help us increase our marketing efforts to build momentum for our 2021-2022 curling season. The funds allow us to engage a digital marketing consultant for several months to help develop our marketing strategy, and increase spending on our marketing and community engagement campaigns. Our marketing project will start at the end of May.
If you are interested in consulting or participating in this marketing project please express your interest by emailing curl@woodstockcurling.com by May 20.
2) Instalment Plan Coming Next Week
It is hard to believe that we are here in May! That means that curling season is 6 months away. We are offering our instalment plan to those who would like to take advantage of it. This year’s instalment plan will allow you to break up your curling fees over 6 months with monthly payments occurring at the first of the month from June-November. Not only does this help you spread out your payments, it also helps out the centre with off-season expenses. Of course, in the event that we are not able to curl next season, full refunds of instalment plan payments will be issued.
Instalment plan registration and payment set up will be available next week. We will send out an email with detailed instructions on how to sign up once online sign up is live so watch your inbox!
We are working hard to prepare for next season and to make sure curling is a part of our community’s future. We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and has had a chance to spend some time outside and take in some springtime flowers!
If anyone has any questions, please let us know.
All the best,
Your WCC Board of Directors
