Happy Spring, Curlers, 

Here are this week’s update! We appreciate all the support we have been getting this off-season. 

Barrier-free. It’s our future. 

We are happy to announce that we are starting our journey to a more accessible future. For us to truly live out our vision of being a recreational hub in our community for all ages, we need to upgrade our facilities to be more physically accessible. To do so we are striking a committee. Are you passionate about removing physical barriers for community members? Can you contribute to one of the largest projects we need to undertake in the near future? 

Specifically the committee will drive work to: 

• engage and get proposals from engineers and contractors.
• determine renovation/building options.
• ultimately deliver recommendations to the Board about size, scope, timing, costs and funding options.
• oversee and manage project implementation

Youth Curling: Registration for 2021-2022 now open 

Spring break is upon us and you might be looking ahead to a hopeful future where we can all start to get back to life as we used to know it. Well, so are we! So, we have decided to open registration for our youth curling program. We know that we can’t 100% say for sure we will be back on the ice in the Fall, but we are starting to put positive vibes out there. If you are looking for safe activities for your littles (or not so littles) come October, we have just the thing. Anyone who registers now will receive an early bird discount.
