Hello Fall and Hello WCC Curlers!

 

While we continue to prepare for our reopening, we have some great news to share with everyone!

Our 4th Annual Sticks & Stones tournament has been a huge success, raising a whopping $15,002!! All thanks to the participants and most importantly, our committee members and the Vink family.

And finally, we cannot thank the Vink family enough for their continued support. Their ongoing generosity and contribution to our Centre year over year has made a significant impact to our financial position.  Not to mention the advice and guidance we have received around COVID-19 and our ability to open safely.  For all of this and more we remain forever grateful.

 

Now that we feel that chill in the air, the crisp fall weather is upon us and we are working diligently to prepare the Centre for the potential reopening date of November 23rd.  

 

That being said, we need your help. While a number of you have indicated your desire to curl this season by registering early, in order for the Board of Directors to make a fully informed decision we need to be able to validate our expected curlers. 

 

If you are interested in curling this season we have reopened our registration and our ask is that you please take the time to get signed up by October 9th.  No payment is expected until our decision is made on our season.  This will occur on October 13th.

 

The more validated registrations we have, the easier it will be for the Board to determine our financial position to host this season.
