THIS WEEK AT WCC: MURRAY COULTER BONSPIEL, HOLIDAY TOY DRIVE FOR OPERATION SHARING, WINTER LEARN TO CURL,
Good Monday morning, Woodstock Curlers,
This week we start ringing in the holiday season with a couple of events:
1) Murray Coulter Bonspiel: Friday December 13
The annual Murray Coulter Bonspiel is taking place this Friday, December 13 during the day. Sign up sheet is on the bulletin board on the north side of the ice viewing area in the lounge. $35/curler entry fee. Friday day curling is a great way to extend your weekend!
2) Holiday Toy Drive for Operation Sharing
While tickets to our annual Christmas Dinner are no longer available for purchase, we are still accepting donations for our annual Holiday Toy Drive in support of Operation Sharing. Our box of goodies is filling up but we would love to see it overflow like it has in years past. Drop off a toy or monetary donation anytime this week as we prepare to present the toys to Operation Sharing on Friday. If you don’t have a ticket for the Christmas Dinner, join us for post-dinner drinks Friday night and join us in presenting our gift.
3) Winter Learn to Curl
Our fall Learn to Curl program has come to an end and we are excited to welcome learn to curlers to league play. Do you have a friend or family member that is interested in Learn to Curl? Do you still need a Christmas present for said family member? Why not give the gift that keeps on giving through a Learn to Curl membership? Our winter Learn to Curl will be beginning in the first week of February. For just $95 plus tax, you can give them a 7 week curling experience. Register your friends/family here.
