Good Evening Everyone,

 

Once again Woodstock will be hosting the Special Olympic Region 4 Tankard Playdown on Sunday December 1, 2019. We will also be hosting the Special Olympic South West Regional Tankard Qualifier on Sunday January 12, 2020.

 

One of the requirements of of being a host is that we gather together a Divisioning Committee. This committee of 8-10 people should be a diverse group of people who are familiar with the game of curling and can be comprised of curlers of every level of experience.

 

Divisioning before a competiton allows Special Olympic Athletes to feel confidant that they are participating within a fair and balanced system and that they are continually competing against other athletes with like abilities. Your services as a Divisioner will be required for only a few hours on December 1 and/or January 12.

 

We will require a Divisioning committee 8 -10 people for each of these events.

 

If you are interested in being a divisioner for one or both of these events please let me know at your earliest convenience. Do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions. I can also send along our process document and a sample divisioning sheet for those of you that would like to know a little more before committing.
